Trust me friends, speaking from experience, there are going to be days when all you want to do is crawl back into your comfort zone, eat an entire Jack’s pizza, and go back to that shitty 9-5 with the steady paycheck.
I freaking get it.
Being an entrepreneur is hard. Being great at anything is hard.
But so is being mediocre. So is waking up everyday with a dream that you’re not living out. In my humble opinion, facing your unrealized potential is the hardest thing you will EVER do. Coming to the end of your life, realizing that you were a coward, and that you wasted your life being mediocre is the hardest thing you will EVER face.
And the thing is, you only have yourself to blame for unrealized potential, for unfulfilled dreams. Yup, that’s on you. It’s up to you and you alone to stop playing the victim card in your life and actually do something meaningful.
So, on your path to living a meaningful life, full of intention and purpose, there are going to be hard days. There will be tough moments when you want to quit. It’s inevitable.
Here’s what you do….
Number one; reconnect to your reason for starting in the first place. Your vision for your life has got to be so strong that you literally cannot quit. If it’s not, you’ll find a reason to stop eventually.
Number two; ask yourself what’s more painful- the growing pains you’re currently experiencing or the pain of unrecognized potential that will happen if you walk away?
Number three; get your energy up. Protecting your energy as an entrepreneur is essential to success. Sounds cheesy, but you need to sleep, you need to exercise, and you need to eat healthy. And you need to treat this with the highest priority. Period. End of story.
Number four: stay on the train; it’s worth it, I promise.
